Bird watching in Cyprus this autumn (video)

Relevant News

From herons and wildfowl cruising along the pristine coastlines of Akamas peninsula to raptors and passerines drawn to the wetlands and scrub of the Akrotiri peninsula, autumn in Cyprus is a birdwatcher’s dream, says NGO BirdLife Cyprus.

In a post on their Facebook page, that also features a  video, BirdLife Cyprus notes that Cyprus’ unique location on one of the major migration routes between Europe and Africa makes the island a key stop-off point for hundreds of thousands of birds, and an abundance of natural areas promise a unique countryside, rich in birds and culture, waiting to be discovered.
