Turkish seismographic research vessel, Barbaros, is located off the coast of Akamas since this morning, Phileleftheros reports.
Turkey issued a NAVTEX yesterday for the period from October 17, 2018 to February 1, 2019 for seismographic research to be conducted by ‘Barbaros’ in maritime areas within the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
The chosen dates coincide with ExxonMobil’s drilling in block 10.
Barbaros will be accompanied by vessel M/V TANUX-1.
