Bar opens in Limassol, owner charged (updated)

Α bar opened last night in Limassol, breaking the night curfew and decrees  to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Police received a tip off and rushed to the scene, charging the owner.

According to reports, three people were inside at the time.

Moreover, 87 drivers and pedestrians were booked from 18:00 yesterday afternoon to six this morning over restriction of movement violations, according to the latest police report.

A total of 34 people were booked in Nicosia after 1,371 checks, 28 in Limassol out of 682 checks, 4 in Larnaca out of 664 checks, 8 in Paphos from 1,091, 8 in Famagusta out of 287 checks and 1 in the Morphou police area.

Traffic reported 3 people after 48 checks, plus one from the Immediate Response Force.
