The Met Office has issued a new bad weather alert as severe winds are expected to batter Cyprus on Monday, Epiphany Day.
The yellow alert concerns severe to stormy southerly as southwesterly winds, force 7 to 8 beaufort, which are expected to affect mainly the southern and western parts of the Mediterranean island.
The alert is valid from 08:00 in the morning till 21:00 in the evening on Monday.
