An autopsy will be held tomorrow to establish exact cause of death of 82 year old Ioannis Michail from Chloraka who was ran over by his car yesterday morning in Paphos, while trying to get it off a pavement with the help of his wife.
According to the police report, the accident happened around 0730 yesterday morning, as the 82 year old had his left leg in the car and his right leg outside, pushing the vehicle off the pavement. At some point the car moved backwards and ran over the man.
He was rushed in critical condition at the Paphos General, where he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
An investigation is on-going by Paphos traffic.
