Arson is suspected to be behind a fire which broke out around 10 in the evening on Monday at Agios Neophytos primary school in Lakatamia, Nicosia district.
Police on Monday also said that the fire broke out at the inner courtyard of the school but spread fast and gutted a hall for all purposes.
Investigations are ongoing, police added.
