Apollon International Photo Competition for teenagers

The CyBC’s Saskia Constantinou together with Elafi Animal Welfare Awards have launched the Apollon International Photo Competition for teenagers with the theme ‘Embracing Diversity’.

The competition is open to all teenagers who on the date of the competition announcement (November 15, 2019) were between the ages of 13 and 19 years old.

Participants are invited to capture their concerns through the artistic medium of photography while responding to the theme of the competition.

Each contestant must submit a maximum of 3 colour or black and white photographs, which may be taken on a mobile phone or with a camera, and pay an entry fee of €10.

1st Prize is €300, 2nd Prize is €200, and 3rd Prize is €100. Certificates will be awarded for the winning photographs in an official award ceremony that will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at St Raphael Resort, Limassol at 6.30 pm in collaboration with the Elafi Animal Welfare Awards. Winners will also appear in the local press and social media.

The photographs can be submitted via the competition’s website, where the public can also find more details on the terms of the competition.
