The Cyprus Meteorological Service issued a yellow warning for extreme high temperatures on Saturday.
The warning is valid from 1200 local time Saturday until 1600.
According to the forecast, the maximum temperature at inland areas is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius and over Troodos highest peaks 32 degrees.
