The electronic crime police is advising the public to be very careful when supposedly advised that their online bank accounts have been de-activated and that they have to re-enter their personal information to activate them again.
According to the authorities the confirmation is taking place through fake websites.
People are urged not to disclose their personal information to anyone.
No banking institution will ever request access to the customers’ data.
