Winter has brought its share of problems, including massive damage to the potato crop in the free Famagusta area, flooded homes and problems on the roads, particularly in the mountains.
But there is also the magic of snowclad Troodos while the bountiful rains have brought rivers to life and filled 12 dams, including the three biggest — thereby ensuring adequate water supplies for the next four years.
