Almost 25,000 citizens have been vaccinated with the 4th dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Speaking to state broadcaster, Evagoras Tambouris, acting director of the Cyprus Nursing Services Administration, said that during the first 15 days of June, 200 citizens have been vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine.
In total 75% of the population received the first dose of the vaccine, while 73.6% are fully vaccinated.
Evagoras Tampouris said that the Health Ministry is monitoring the instructions of the European Union and it is possible that the age limit for the 4th dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be further reduced.
