The State Health Services Organisation (OKYPY) is at the last stage of preparation for the beginning of the afternoon operation of public hospitals. According to daily Phileleftheros, in the last couple of days, OKYPY has been in constant contact with employees in public hospitals, to answer any questions and solve outstanding problems.
OKYPY spokesman Charalambos Charilaou explained that there will be a schedule and depending on their speciality, doctors will see their patients on specific days. As he noted, the schedule is expected to be ready sometime this weekend and will be posted on the Organisation’s website, given that the operation of afternoon out-patient clinics starts on Monday.
Citizens will be able to make their appointments online.
It is reminded that the operation of afternoon outpatient clinics will be from 15.30 until 18.30.
At the same time, Mr. Charilaou said, the schedule for surgeries and other operations in the afternoons will start being prepared and doctors of various specialities will start contacting patients on the waiting list. The same will apply to bronchoscopies, colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and so forth.
