Cypriot actress Alkistis Pavlidou died on Sunday at the age of 74. She was suffering from cancer.
Pavlidou, who is the sister of acclaimed actor and director Nicos Charalambous and mother of actresses Christina and Kynthia Pavlidou, was born in Nicosia.
She is known, among other, forĀ Word of HonourĀ (2001),Ā Fish n’ ChipsĀ (2011) andĀ To triantafyllo ton Hristougennon (2001). As well as for her role as ‘Beba’ in the ever popular TV series Vourate Geitonoi.
Her funeral will take place on Tuesday at 3pm at Constantinos and Elenis church in Nicosia.
