A big fire is in progress in the area of Alassa, near the dam of Kourris.
According to first, information, the fire broke out at the western side of the dam and currently eight aircraft, plus two helicopters of the British Bases and 10 fire engines are trying to put it out.
Andreas Kettis, spokesman of the Fire Service said the IKAROS 2 has been activated.
