It seems that the Scientific Advisory Committee is examining a suggestion to review protocols for vaccinated people, close contacts of confirmed cases.
Speaking on state broadcaster Petros Karagiannis, member of the Committee, said that the issue has already been discussed and will be raised again at the next meeting when the protocol will probably change.
As he explained, the weather and the fact that everyone is in closed areas favor the transmission of the virus. If a person is not vaccinated then the danger increases.
Asked about the distribution of confirmed cases per city, he said that they are more or less the same, with the percentage being a bit elevated in Paphos.
