Police booked 95 pedestrians and drivers overnight on Sunday — 41 one of them in Limassol — after carrying out 4457 checks regarding compliance with the lockdown decrees between 6 pm on Sunday and 6 am on Monday.
Police also checked 970 premises. No violations were found.
As regards the restriction of movement decree, police checks were:
Nicosia: 983 checks, 29 booked
Limassol: 1269 checks, 41 booked
Larnaca: 389 checks, none booked
Paphos: 1181 checks, 15 booked
Famagusta: 188 checks, 5 booked
Morphou: 235 checks, none booked
Police HQ traffic unit: 177 checks, 5 booked
MMAD: 35 checks, none booked
