An 88 year old woman is in a private hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car while trying to cross a road in Limassol.
The accident occurred around 7 pm. on Thursday Police said that under conditions that are being investigated the woman was hit by a car driven by a 78 year old man as she was attempting the cross the road.
She was taken to a privateε hospital with a fractured hip and knee and head injuries. Her condition is described as serious.
