The 84-year-old man who killed his wife on Monday morning at their home was referred to the Criminal Court that will meet on 26 July.
The Limassol Police requested that the man remains in prison until his trial and his lawyer had no objection.
It is noted that at 09.15 on Monday, 6 June, in the morning the 84-year-old man went to the Limassol Police Directorate and said he had murdered his 82-year-old wife. In his testimony he said that they were fighting all the time, his wife kept moaning and he killed her to have peace.
