A 67 year old man from Nicosia is in the intensive care unit of Nicosia Hospital after a road collision at the GSP roundabout on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred at around 5 pm when the victim was hit by a car driven by a 20 year old as he stood behind his stationary car on the roundabout.
The victim was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery.
His condition is described as extremely critical.
