Yesterday afternoon, a 23-year-old who was driving at Protaras Avenue in Paralimni, under conditions that are being investigated, reached a pedestrian crossing lane and injured a 66-year-old who was crossing the road at the time.
Then man was initally transferred to the Famagusta General Hospital but since his condition was critical, he was later taken to the Nicosia General Hospital.
The Famagusta Traffick Police continue the investigations.
