The Central Prison announced the death of a foreign inmate, 65, from pathological causes.
According to the relevant announcement, the man died while in his wing. Members of the staff as well as nurses provided first aid but it was futile.
The guards called an ambulance, the Police, and the prison’s doctor who certified his death excluding a criminal action. A coroner will conduct a post-mortem.
