The Health Ministry announced that over the coming days, 500 COVID-19 tests will be conducted in Kyperounta after the increased number of confirmed cases.
As previously reported, 20 people tested positive and these were clusters from particular families.
The authorities immediately informed the residents through SMS advising them to restrict their movements in order to prevent the spread of the virus and to note down their contacts.
