The Green party announced today that they will be planting trees with 50 inmates from the Nicosia Central Prison in collaboration with the Latsia Municipality.
The trees will be planted on Aeantos Street in Latsia on Tuesday, February 4, at 9:30 am in the presence of Green party leader George Perdikis, and head of the Central Prison Anna Aristotelous.
The event is part of the Greens’ “Tree of Hope” campaign for the development of green spaces in Cypriot cities.
