The Ministry of Health announced that it will install 469 new electric hospital beds in hospitals all over Cyprus.
All the beds will be installed by the end of April, it said.
Their total cost is around €1 million.
The agreement with the seller company entails that the beds carry a five year guarantee, with the Ministry having an option to buy 185 more beds.
The Ministry said that it has ordered an additional amount of electric beds for children for Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia.
