A 40 year old man was caught doing 198 kilometres per hour — twice the legal limit of 100 km per hour — on the Larnaca-Kophinou highway, near the Anglisides exit.
Police said the man was stopped at 11.10 on Saturday morning. He was arrested, taken to the police station and charged in writing.
He was released to appear in court on a later date.
