Paphos police on Saturday evening arrested a 37 year old woman following her involvement in a road collision and her refusal to undergo an alco-test.
The accident occurred on the Paphos-Coral Bay road when the car driven by the 39 year old collided with a mini-bus driven by a 55 year old.
As a result of the collision, the woman’s car climbed on to the pavement and overturned.
The man and the 45 year old woman passenger of the first vehicle were taken to hospital. The woman was given first aid and discharged while the man was hospitalised for precautionary reasons.
The 39 year old woman, who appeared to be drunk, refused to undergo an alco-test and was arrested, the Cyprus News Agency said.
