A 38 year old man was arrested for loan sharking, extortion and money laundering after a complaint lodged with Paphos police by a 57 year old resident.
The man said that he had borrowed €10,500 from the suspect in 2017. He has since repaid €33,600 but says the suspect is demanding another €13,000 and has been threatening him.
