Some 370 charob, fig and terebinth trees are being planted in the area of Profitis Elias in Oroklini today.
According to Neofytos Fakontis, head of the Oroklini community, this has been achieved due to the Municipal Council’s excellent cooperation with the Forestry Department. He noted that the target is to turn green not only Profitis Elias but other areas of the municipality.
He added that approximately 700 trees have been planted in various areas of Oroklini last year and 185 green spaces have been established.
