A 26 year old woman was booked by Famagusta police for speeding in a residential area at 1.50 am on Thursday morning. The woman was driving at 111 km per hour in a 50 km speed limit zone on Makarios Avenue in Dherynia.
Police officers found that she was not wearing a seat belt, whereas her road tax had expired on July 1, 2018.
She was booked and will appear later in court to answer charges relating to the traffic offences.
