A 22 year old man was arrested on Saturday after police found 20 video files of child pornography in his Nicosia home.
Police said they had searched the man’s house after obtaining a search warrant.
They said that suspicions were raised that the 22 year old had child porn after investigations by the cyber crime unit.
During the search, they found two computers, a tablet, two mobile phones, a hard disc and a USB.
During an initial search of the external disc, police found 20 videos with child porn and arrested the man on suspicion of acquiring, possessing and distributing child porn.
The electronic devices from his home have been sent for forensic examination.
