A 21 year old man has been remanded in custody for five days by Paphos district court on suspicion of obtaining money under false pretenses.
It follows a complaint made by a pensioner in Paphos that between January and June this year he had given the suspect 28,000 euro to invest abroad, but no investment was ever made.
