A total of 17 coronavirus patients are being treated at Famagusta General Hospital, three of them in the increased care unit in good, stable condition.
One patient was admitted today and two were discharged after their repeat tests came back negative.
They were transferred to the Edek Resort Rehabilitation Centre in Tersephanou pending further confirmatory tests.
“We want to send a message of optimism that the number of admissions to the hospital is dropping and that with the measures taken by the state to contain the spread of coronvarus are delivering results,” Famagusta/Referral Hospital head Amalia Hadjiyianni told CNA.
