The Labour Ministry is urging patience among employees who applied for its special allowances but have not yet received them, according to philenews.
Speaking on Omega TV channel, Labour Minister Zeta Emilianidou said that 140,000 payments have been processed so far and reminded employers that they are the ones who should reach out to the Ministry for issues regarding their employees’ applications.
She added that many mistakes were found on applications, mostly by foreign employees and urged caution as even a minor mistake can prevent the application from going through, thereby hindering the payment of the allowance.
