The city and district of Limassol recorded fifty three out of 133 individuals and businesses fined and charged for covid violations over the past 24 hours, in more than nine and a half thousand checks across the country.
Most fines involved not wearing a mask, movement without an SMS and after the nine o clock evening curfew.
In Nicosia 15 people were fined out of 3 thousand 217 checks, while Limassol saw 53 citizens fined, one business and two home parties charged with covid violations out of a total of 1,597 checks.
Larnaca also checked high on the list, as 35 individuals were fined out of 1,355 checks, while in Paphos, 15 citizens were fined in 1,126 checks.
Four people were fined in the Famagusta area, with no fines and charges out of 800 checks in the Morphou region.
