The Health Ministry has taken delivery of 1320 protective gowns for medical professionals on the frontline of the coronavirus outbreak that were donated by China, while additional masks will be delivered by private courier service, the Health Ministry has announced.
A special Aegean flight offered by Aegean and Hellenic Petroleum will on Saturday transport medical supplies, part of them also donated by China, it added.
“The Health Ministry expresses it warm thanks to the Chinese embassy in Nicosia which in a spirit of solidarity contributed to covering the needs in equipment and supplies,” the ministry added.
