About 110,000 requests have been sent in the past 24 hours from people asking to leave the house ‘under exception’, philenews reports, citing sources.
It added that at a time when the health services are doing battle to contain the spread of coronavirus and amid stringent, stay at home decrees, some members of the public remain incorrigible.
Philenews said that today a number of Nicosia residents went to Protaras for an excursion, even to spend the weekend.
It added that supermarkets in the capital were teeming with people.
