Limassol police on Wednesday said they are investigating a case of assault and robbery against a 26-year-old man.
As the man told police, early on Tuesday morning, he was attacked by a group of ten people who also stole his wallet with 200 euros inside, while he was in his car with a friend in Ayios Nicolaos.
The culprits also damaged the vehicle before fleeing on foot, the victim reported.
After the attack, he was taken to Limassol General Hospital in an ambulance to receive first aid.
Police said they will search the victim’s car for clues and examine footage from a nearby CCTV.
