Cyprus Meteorological Service issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms. It is valid from 2000 Monday until 1200 Tuesday.
According to the warning, isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the island. Shower rates will range between 35 and 50 millimeters per hour while hail is also likely to fall.
