Heavy rains in the Athens area has led to floods and created additional problems for people reeling from Monday’s devastating fires.
Reports said the fire brigade has received 120 calls for help and to pump water in northern Attiki — north Penteli, Kifisia, Melissia, Marousi and Vrilissia.
Greek TV said that drivers have become trapped and basements flooded because of the downpour.
