Cyfield plans a twin development called “Central” at the entrance of Nicosia, specifically at Strovolos industrial area near the Christos Steliou Ioannou Foundation.
‘Central’ will consist of two high-rise buildings – Building A and Building B – providing primarily office space.
A joint underground parking will have a lot more spaces than the number required by law, as well as plenty of storage room.
The buildings will also have a landscaped square with green areas and amenities such as gyms, restaurants/cafes and childcare facilities.
The proposed project is located within the boundaries of Strovolos Municipality.
As for the technical elements of the project, Building A will be a 15-storey building with a height of 55.30 metres while the 11-storey Building B will have a height of 49.80 metres.
The total area of the plots under review is 26,298 square metres and the development will cover an area of approximately 3,922 square metres.
Specifically, the total area of the development is 26,328 square metres of offices, 618 square metres of shops, restaurant/cafes/bar of 1700 m2, a fitness centre of 1,093 m2 and a private green area of 17,508 square metres.
Based on the number of parking spaces available, users/visitors to ‘Central’ are estimated to be 1,500 people on average.
Specifically, Building A will have three underground parking spaces of 126, 376 and 364 respectively, and Building B will have two underground parking spaces of 287 and 367.
The completion time of the proposed project is about 24 months from commencement day.
The project’s Environmental Impact Assessment Study has been submitted for evaluation.
The area now accommodates the Mall of Cyprus and Leroy Merlyn store while the new Jumbo will also operate there soon.
