The Transport Ministry has announced the setting up of a new call centre to facilitate communication with those wishing to repatriate to Cyprus.
The call centre will be used to contact those eligible to repatriate to confirm their interest that they wish to return, the date of their return based on flights being scheduled in the immediate future as well as their airport of departure, it said in an official announcement.
They will then be contacted by Aegean for the issue of the ticket.
The call centre is staffed on a volunteer basis by officials from the Transport Ministry, the Zenon centre, civil defence and Hermes.
