It will mostly warm and sunny today, with the possibility of one or two showers inland in the afternoon where temperatures will rise to 26 C.
In its early morning weather bulletin, the Met Office said weak low pressure is affecting the area.
On Monday, there will intervals of increased medium and high cloud while after midday, local increased cloud may lead to isolated showers and the possibility of thunderstorms in the mountains and parts of the interior.
Temperatures will rise to 26 C inland, around 23 C on the south and east coasts, around 21 C on the remaining coasts and 14 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine. Temperatures will fall to 11 C inland and on the coasts and 4 C in the mountains.
Tuesday will be mainly fine, however clouds that develop after midday and early in the afternoon may lead to isolated showers in the mountains.
Wednesday will be mainly fine while in the afternoon there will be increased cloud in the mountains.
On Thursday there will be at intervals increased high and medium cloud.
Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will edge up gradually to a little above average for the time of year, remaining at the same levels on Thursday.
