After yesterday’s heavy downpours in many parts of Cyprus, more scattered showers are expected later today.
According to the weather forecast of the Met Office, the low pressure affecting the area will clear tonight.
Monday will start off mainly fine but from midday increased clouds are expected to lead to scattered showers or thunderstorms in the mountains and inland. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by hail.
Temperatures will be rise to 34 C inland, 30 C on the west coast, 32 C on the remaining coast and around 24 C in the mountains.
Tonight will become mainly clear. Temperatures will drop to 20 C inland, around 21 C on the coasts and around 13 C in the mountains.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be mainly fine but at midday and in the afternoon there will be increased local cloud, mainly in the mountains and inland.
Temperatures will edge up over the three days to a little above average for the time of year.
