More rain on the way-temperatures up on Tuesday


A low pressure system continues to affect the island.

Clear skies will give way to isolated showers in the afternoon, mainly over the mountains.

Winds will initially be light to moderate three to four, later turning strong force four to five over slight to moderate seas and moderate in the afternoon on the southern coast.

Temperatures are expected to rise to 26 degrees celsius inland, 24 over eastern and southern coastal regions, 22 over the west and north and 16 over the mountains.

Cloudy this evening, with northwesterly to northeasterly winds and on the north coast, light southeasterly, force three, over slight seas.

Temperatures will drop to 12 degrees inland, 14 over the coast and five on the mountains.

More rain is on the way tomorrow through to Wednesday, with isolated showers, mainly over the mountains.

Temperatures will drop to lower that the seasonal tomorrow, slightly going up on Tuesday.
