The Ministry of Labour announced on Friday that from April 4 and for the duration of the state’s lockdown measures, the following restrictions will remain in effect:

Homes for the elderly and the disabled and 24-hour care establishments for the disabled are not allowed to take visits.

Outings of residents in homes should be limited to the absolutely necessary and necessary precautions should be taken as announced by the Ministry of Health.

Adult day care centres caring for people with disabilities and day care centres for the elderly will continue operations, but the loved ones of inmates are urged to stay home whenever possible.

Outings of residents at these centres should be limited to the absolutely necessary and necessary precautions should be taken as announced by the Ministry of Health.

Home carers will continue to provide services given that necessary precautions will be taken as announced by the Ministry of Health.

State child daycare centres will remain shut.

Baby daycare centres and child minding and protection centres — private or non-profit — will remain shut.
