Met Office issues extreme high temperature warning for Saturday

The Met Office has issued an extreme high temperature warning for tomorrow when inland maximum temperatures are expected to rise to around 41 C.

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will remain fine and warm with temperatures remaining at the same levels, which are noticeably above average for the time of year.

Maximum temperatures today were 38 C in Nicosia, 36 C in Limassol, Larnaca and Frenaros, 34 C in Polis Chrysochous, 32 C in Paphos and 28 C in Prodromos.
