Four people — three clients and the manager — were booked for drinking coffee in a kiosk in Limassol on Wednesday as part of police checks of compliance with decrees to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Overall police checked 1315 premises in the 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pm on Wednesday. They also booked two people who were playing cards in a holiday home in the Famagusta district.
Police also checked 6926 pedestrians and drivers and booked 62.
