A 39 year old driver who jumped a red light on Larnaca’s Spyros Kyprianou Avenue on Thursday night was found to be driving under the influence of drugs, without a driving licence, insurance or road tax.
The man, who is unemployed, was stopped by police after he drove through a red light. He had no licence or insurance while the car had been declared as immobilised and had no road tax.
The man tested positive for drugs while police found a straw in his car with 0.2 grams of methamphetamine.
He was taken to the police station where he was charged and released to appear in court on a later date.
