Man caught driving at 175 km per hour

A 48 year old man was caught driving at 175 km per hour on the Nicosia-Kokkinotrimithia highway on Saturday night. The speed limit is 100 km.

Police said the vehicle’s road tax and and MOT were both expired.

He was taken to Kokkinotrimithia police station where he was charged and will appear in court at a later stage.
