Man catches arsonist dousing his car

 

A man in Yeroskipou caught a man red handed dousing his car with liquid, which he subsequently discovered was flammable material. The incident happened last night.

The car was parked outside his home.

The owner of the vehicle started shouting for assistance with the would be arsonist running off before lighting a fire.

Police have cordoned off the area and are taking testimony from witnesses.

Also in Paphos, police are looking for a 46 year old who attacked them and fled to prevent a covid check.

In addition, a 17 year old in Paphos, was caught driving his father’s car without a licence.
